Professor Andreas Krafft is a leading expert in Positive Psychology, Hope Studies, and Future Thinking. He teaches at the University of St. Gallen, Free University of Berlin, and the University of Lisbon, focusing on the psychology of hope and the science of envisioning positive futures.
As Co-President of swissfuture, the Swiss Society for Futures Studies, Professor Krafft leads initiatives that explore how hope influences wellbeing, leadership, and innovation.
He is also the Head of the International Research Network of the Hope Barometer, a global study that measures hope and optimism across cultures. He serves on the boards of the Swiss Positive Psychology Association (SWIPPA) and the German Association for Positive Psychology (DACH-PP).
